A Little about Mrs. Marsh
I have taught since receiving my undergraduate degrees from North Carolina State University in Chemistry and Science Education in 1991. The courses that I have taught are in the physical sciences (physical science, chemistry, and physics), and Earth / Environmental Science, as well as courses for exceptional children. My first year of experience was acquired at High Point Central High School; I then taught at Trinity High School for thirteen years, Braxton Craven for five years, Wheatmore for three years, and back at HPC for two more years. I am extremely excited to be back at Braxton Craven School beginning in the fall of 2015. In 1998 I received my National Board Certification in Adolescent and Young Adult Science, and I graduated in August of 2005, with a Master's of Education degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities concentration, from Elon University. In the spring of 2015, I received the Mentor of the year award from Guilford County Schools.
